The last time I jumped. I (and jumpmaster) checked my gear, I hooket the static line to the cable, stood in the doorway with the 90+ mph wind tugging at my suit, every fiber of my being screaming that stepping out with nothing but 5000 feet of air between me and the ground is not a natural act.. you can't possibly be stupid enough to do that... then you step out.
