One airport (I think Minneapolis/St. Paul) wants to have a private room where Muslims can pray, while another (possibly Seattle) wants to remove all non-religious Christmas and Chanukah displays. Is this PC gone insane?

Leave it to a single Rabbi to make all of us Jews look bad.

Yes. All that was requested at Seatac was for a Menorah IN ADDITION TO the tree. I don't see how that would have been a problem.
There is no defense for giving Muslims their own private prayer room. It's a prescription for terror.

They figure that people get upset watching muslims praying in an airport, ( I can't imagine WHY)so, they will give them their own room to do it in, out of sight of the passengers, which in turn will no doubt lead to others wanting their own "special" rooms also. The airport in Seattle apparently removed it's Christmas trees that were on display because a rabbi DEMANDED, under threat of a lawsuit, that an 8 ' tall menorah be put on display next to the Christmas tree. Instead of complying with his wishes, they removed the Christmas tree. Yep, they gave in. This political correctness nonsense has gotten WAY out of contol.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!

I think people should leave their religions at home...Muslims are not "required" to pray however many times a day..there is not a "set time" for them to pray...Why can't everyone just pray to themselves quietly or wait until they get home? Why do we feel the need to shove religion in everyone's face?

I cannot. I use rational thought.

The PC thing is way out of control.

How about we pass a law that says keep your praying in your head or in a place of worship where it belongs. Do not inflict your religion on me in public.

It can't be explained by reasonable people, because the people that make these decisions are unreasonable.

As my father used to say, You can't have a rational discussion with someone who is irrational.

BTW, I spoke to God this morning, he said he is sick and tired of religion. I asked him why, and he said that he never intended to give humans religion, they invented it themselves, and as usual, they screwed it up.
