What do you think a Goth is? I want to hear everyone's opinions on what being a goth entails.

I think you mean 'Gothic Culture' or subculture, not 'Gothic Couture', which is just clothing that may be considered to be gothic looking, or may be enjoyed or preferred by goths.
Here's a big old explanation anyway:

Goth is more a lifestyle or outlook on life than anything. They tend to accept that there are bad things as well as good things in life, rather than 'sweep them under the rug', to say, and pretend they don't exist. They can dress however they want, although many prefer darker colors and more dramatic clothes and makeup, and listen to lots of songs and varied genres of music, which can include but are by no means limited to, new wave, darkwave, ethereal, Celtic, goth rock, punk, postpunk, chants, heavy metal, industrial, Latin, et cetera. Not all are interested in vampires - in fact, relatively few are. Many if not most have good relationships with their parents. Very few have mental or psychological problems. Most are actually quite nice, if a bit saturnine. Very, very, very few are 'satanists' or 'devil worsippers'. Most of the young teenagers who listen to Marilyn Manson, Disturbed, Slipknot, Korn, My Chemical Romance, Drowning Pool, et cetera and wear heavy thick makeup and studded spike collars and bracelets are called 'Mall goths', shop mostly at Hot Topic, and - this is important - they're not real goths. They just seem to think they are. They act disturbed and surly and try to impress/intimidate people. It seldom works, as most are obviously pathetic, and almost all will (thankfully) grow out of it. First of all i am not really into labels but I think it is a life style not just related to how you dress. I think "goth" people generally emphasize the mysterious and desolate parts of life. And of course they generally do wear mostly black and dye their hair and not as many "goths" today wear white makeup although that was popular. Also I think "goth" people prefer rock music to any other style.

Being goth has not anything to do with what garments you put on or track you concentrate to, this can be a mind-set and seeing the sector. The garments that goths put on and the track that goths concentrate to is only a mirrored image of that attitude. Goths see that there's severe affliction and evil on this planet, at the side of the well. Instead of condemning it or ignoring it, goths take delivery of those matters as a aspect of existence and check out and benefit from the well at the side of the unhealthy, considering that they cannot give up the unhealthy from taking place. They don't seem to be obsessive about loss of life, they simply take delivery of it as an inevitability. They don't try to rationale extra affliction of their (or any one else's) lives, considering that there's lots to begin with. Goths have a tendency to be style, wise, non-violent, emotional, and inventive.

goths are people who think life is just a turture. they ware a lot of black and prefer the darkness. they love to party at night and do rebel stuff. they listen to hard music, mostly rock. some of them are emo and cut themselves because they hate their life so much they want to end it, or they life the feeling of pain. they prefer talking to their kind or group. they're quite and try to scare people away because they want to be left alone. some of them commit suicide because they can't stand their lifes and just prefer to end it. most of them believe in witchcraft or spells, vampires or werewolves.
