I guess I should've said that I have been in labor before and I know what it feels like, but this pain really hurts.I would say like the really bad cramps you have right after having your baby.:(

You probably will have a new baby by the end of the week. If you experience strong pains that continue on for more than an hour then it'll more then likely be the time. Each labor is different.....I have four kids and each one was a different experience for me. Better safe than sorry. Good luck and Congratulations in advance.

I think you will know when it's the real thing. You wont ask if you should go, you'll just do it because it's pain that is the worst. But if you are bleeding or your water breaks go in right away. GL on your new addition. I wish it were me lol, I'm 39 weeks prego and can't wait anymore lol.

Real contractions HURT, so it's likely you have plenty of time. My doctor told me not to go to the hospital until my contractions were so intense that I couldn't talk through them OR they were coming 3-5 minutes apart.

Good luck! It won't be long now!

Don't take a chance, either call the hospital or just go. Good luck. I had 2 and it is a wonderful experience.

You will know when it's the real thing. It will be a pattern of contractions. But if your water breaks go to the hospital.
