I knew a lot of people waxed or shaved (or got rid of their pubic hair another way) but I didn’t really think about it in till all of my closest girlfriends admitted to religiously shaving down there. I’ve tried shaving before and hated it; I would bleed from small cuts and get painful red bumps. It would grow back faster than it would heal. I’ve never tried waxing (in that area, I do get my eyebrows waxed) because I am reluctant to spend the money. I am kind of open to trying it. I’ve also never tried any hair-removing product (I have super sensitive skin), but I am also willing to try that. My grooming habits consist of keeping everything trim and neat at about ½ inch to an inch long. I am sexually active.

My question is a survey of what you think is acceptable grooming habits for a female.

If you also want to share some techniques or products, that would be appreciated.

Well, I have been shaving for the past week, and let me tell you this.. I hate it! It itches when it grows back, and it is way to high maintenance for me. I beleive that you can have natural pubic hair and still be sexy. If a man wants me 2 look like I am 10, then that is his problem, not mine. I recently decided to start shaving bc I always heard how people say that it is so much hygienic, but the truth is when the ingrown hairs and sensitive skin starts flaring up, you will really consider if shaving is really worth it. Shaving can also cause cysts and other problems. So, really consider this before you pick up the razor.

one million) wash by and large, trim whilst it will get too lengthy. two) the garden is mowed and in reasonable form three) I bathe earlier than. Being blank and with out odor (or sweat) in the entire components is a well opening factor. four) identical. There are a few persons that wish to shave all that and it simply is bizarre. It is like ... prepubescent. I do not find it irresistible. There should be grass at the area earlier than you'll be able to even consider approximately gambling ball there. A girl with well pubes has above normal hormone phases and, so far as city legends move, is thus a manx within the sack. Healthy is not shaved, is not "briarwood", is a good manicured garden... healthful progress. Male, 30's, relatively glad and convinced in my marriage.

Laser/ electrolysis is the only permanent removal method but it is quite expensive. Waxing is probably the next best option, it will last longer than shaving (the area stays clean for 2-3 weeks). If you're looking at a Brazilian waxing job, most professional salons will do it and their prices vary for the service.

Shaved? YUCK! I am not a child anymore, nor do I want to be. I think fully shaved genitalia (on a man OR woman) is disgusting. It seems like pedophilia to me.

I'm all about keeping it nicely trimmed though. Thankfully, I don't have much in the way of body hair (I mean I shave my legs and armpits once a week, and you still can't feel any growth- and I'm 22), so it's not really a big deal for me.
