please help with these quesitons...
true/false?:
1. an individual atom should be considered to be a solid
2. ...a liquid
3...a gas?
4. the state of the atom depends on which element it is.
5. an individual atom cannot be condered to be a solid, liquid, or gas.

and if you could tell me why the false ones are false that would be great. thankssss so much.

5 is the only true one. Whether a substance is a solid, a liquid or a gas depends on how strongly the atoms which make it up are attracted to one another. Therefore, you must have more than one atom in a sample to decide whether it's a solid, liquid or gas.
