i just got a new laptop brand new not even a week old. it was running fast as hell. booted it up today and it running really slow and i dont know why. i have not installed anything on it so why would it be running slow????

You could have gotten a bad hard drive or something like that. I had a brand new hard drive and two days later it was slow then the next day when i booted up it didnt work. Yeah u guessed it i returned that so fast. I would call tech support or return it for a new one

The laptop should have a 1 year DEPOT warranty on it which means you may have to mail it back to the vendor. However, since the laptop is less than 30 days you can probably take it back to the reseller. There are a number of things that can cause the laptop to run slow. Remember, the Operating System controls the hardware. Not vice versus. This could be a Microsoft Windows issue.
