Parents does this to show love and appreciation toward their kids. Age plays no factor. A parent that does this has great love for their children. Great advice just keep the love flowing.

My mom does and i like that she does sometimes. I know she loves me. My dad on the other he likes to be rough with the huggs he has a beard and i kiss him sometimes but i dont like the feeling of the beard. But i still love him though

Yep, my dad always hugs me when we see each other, which is only a couple times a year. When you get older you are more happier to see family, I guess thats cuz you dont see them much the older you get.

hug sometimes, but not like a baby. And only mom, my dad's not very expressive. I kinda miss it, but it's not as embarrassing in public, if your parents don't.
It could be because I'm don't really like body contact.

my dad never does, unless i kiss him first. my mom will kiss and hug me, not in public, but not like she did when i was a baby. i'm 14, but my parents still kiss my sister who's 27, and she'll do it back!!

My mom hugs me a lot, but as for kisses, those are saved for "special proud" moments.
