Someone appointed to any committee, should research all aspects of the position. Reyes is obviously not qualified to do the job!!

He was talking about Al Queda in Iraq. Al Queda in the rest of the world is made up of fringe groups from all parts of the Islamic world. I am afraid you may be right about Reyes. What the democrats don't seem to know is some committees are not on the job training. The intelligence committee is one. But we will wait & see how things go. Maybe he will do his homework & turn out allright.

Unfortuntely, Rep. Reyes ignorance is bad but the cowardice of the West (especially the American people) is a much bigger problem.

I think that the name Doomsday is appropriate because that's where we are headed. Every liberal's favorite statesman, Mamoud Ahmadinejad, is holding his Holocaust denial conference right now. The American media has been doing absolutely nothing to counter his claims. No old post-WW II footage of the emaciated prisoners at the Nazi prison camps. No TV appearances by the few surviving former concentration camp prisoners, showing the numbers that the Nazis tattoed into their flesh.

Meanwhile Ahmadinejad is working on his nuclear weapons. His commandos have moved into Iraq, Afghanistan, Lebanon, and Somalia, completely unopposed and with no reporting from the western media. It's 1933 all over again. Except I fear that this time democracy will lose.

The libs scream that Bush is evil and say nothing about this new Hitler. Ironically, the libs will be the first ones vaporized, beheaded, or shoved into the new gas chambers.

It would seem that Georgia Rep. Cynthia McKinney wants to milk her "15 minutes of fame" by introducing a bill to impeach President Bush. We all remember her as the Democratic congresswoman who struck a Capitol police officer in March and used her race as an excuse for the fracas. She continually voiced her position that Bush was not legitimately elected and that he violated his constitutional oath.

President Bush didn't know the difference between a Sunni and a Shiite before he went to war in Iraq. What does that say about his intelligence?

People in glass houses...you know the rest.

It's an indication it's continuing down the same track the republicans were on.
