I am looking for a Christmas gift for a relative and he wants "any of the new lego bionicles." Any help is appreciated.

INIKA are the newest series. The characters come in a rectangular oval shaped container, instead of the usual circular one

My son (10) informs us that the Piraka are the newest Bionicles, and in particular that the white one (Thok, the "cunning lone wolf") is the coolest. Apparently his right arm is a "freeze gun" and his left arm shoots plastic spheres. How much better can it get?
He also recently informed us that the Inika are also new, so there's a second category you can choose from. Check out Lego.com to get an idea of what to look for, or head for the Lego store (or any large toy store) near you.

The newest character line for Bionicle is the 2007 villains called the Barraki. As usual there are 6 of them: Pridak(white), Takadox (blue), Kalmah (red), Mantax (black), Carapar (yellow), and Ehlek (green).
There are also 4 new Matoran (small villagers) that came out about a month ago - 2 good: Dekar (yellow) and Defilak (green), and 2 bad: Thulox (red) & Morak (blue).

or you can look in ToysRUs or a local LEGO retail store if you happen to have one nearby. As a note tho, they are selling out of the stores VERY fast since they are new.

The newest Bionicle sets are two Matoran and two little spider creatures (not Visorak), the Toa Inika, and the newest (may not be available) are the Barraki.
