I recently made a stupid mistake with partitioning my computer, and well, long story short, I reinstalled Windows. I have almost fully "recovered" from this incident, but there is one problem. Before this happened, my speakers that I plug into the jack in my computer worked before, but now it doesn't. I also have Linux on my computer, where the speakers work. I have checked the device manager and also lots of other things, including installing drivers, but nothing works. What should I do?

The pictures card you're searching for could be an "onboard" one. enter the bios and deactivate the onboard pictures there. After that verify the equipment configuration to make certain if there somewhat is barely one card left. to make confident all drivers are long gone you additionally should get rid of the recent card and restart the equipment with out any card. There could be no message like "new hardware discovered" and there shouldnt be any drivers setting up. Then placed lower back interior the recent card and set up that one...you're able to have a clean equipment with merely one card. I dont understand hey including your sound when you consider which you didnt provide adequate tips for that. yet Im confident you acquire onboard sound too, perhaps a soundcard too? If thats the caes then do comparable to above, deactivate the soundchip in Bios etc... you're able to do it! solid success!
