All right, so here's the deal:

I got a perfect score on my test to even gett ACCEPTED into my school bee (the only one in the school). I asked my teacher what I should do to study and she said ,"Don't study. Just relax, be yourself, and have confidence. Trust me, you'll do well."

I just don't understand how she expects me to do well in the competition if I DON'T STUDY! Any ideas? Should I listen to her? Or should I study as much as possible? I mean, the words in the test were from the booklet "Spell It!" and I had already studied all of them by the day of the test. NOW, the bee will consist of words from the Rancom house's Student Dictionary, which I unfortunately cannot buy or borrow because my parents will not let me (plus, I don't have a library card and cannot get one anytime soon). Help, please!

Go online and search for most often misspelled words. This will bring up list of those words most often missed. These would be excellent to study before the bee! Good luck!

I think the teacher's right. What my friend did was just read the dictionary. I don't know how that helped, but somehow, she got 2nd place in the school. although she didn't get into the states, she told me that it helped her.
