An Iron Bottom - You will spend hours reading.
Analytical Mind - You need to read the cases and figure out how they apply to your case and what arguments need to be made
Concise - You've read dozens of cases, you've figured out the key points, now you have to put it into something a judge will read and understand you point of view while countering any arguments the other side will throw at you.

Law school is AMAZING...Corporate law and Entertainment law is what I have done...it's great to be a lawyer...but you have to LOVE speaking...basically, in high school you should have/ or should start doing speech & debate (if offered at school) because it's a BIG help towards the speaking skills. AND you need to LOVE reading because that's all you do in Law...memorize books...Furthermore, political science is a great class in college before law school.

You must be analytical, ready to work (because the long hours law students/lawyers put in is tolling) and you absolutely must be able to write effectively.
