I always rate people's answers. It is acknowledgement and also polite.

I always rate answers these days. Sometimes I find an answer is not good or bad enough for either a thumbs up or down but mostly I give a thumbs up for anyone who has put effort into the answer.

I absolutely do, unless I really don't have an opinion on whether or not the answer was good or bad. I always give thumbs down to those who didn't answer it at all, and just answered for the 2 pts, though.

I think people should. If someone answers a question, then they deserve a rating from the asker whether it`s good or bad.

But you don't know if the asker rated it or other people have! I usually just rate it bad if I don't like it, cos then it gets minimised and I don't have to read it again.

Oh yes, absolutely..although keep in mind there is a limit to how many answers a questioner can rate per day and that may explain why many do not..

Yes, I always go in, look at all the answers and rate the answers given. I think it's only polite. :-)
