When I was a baby, it was customary for parents to take the first shoes their child ever wore to the jeweler to have them dipped in bronze. When I turned twenty-one, my Mom gave my bronzed pair of shoes back to me. I still have those shoes sitting on a bookcase in my living room. Hang onto that teddy bear! Have a great evening! (OK, I admit it. I'm so old that my first teddy bear has disintegrated.)

Yes I have toy record player that works like a music box. I have had since I was two years old. Plus I have kept a diary since I was in 6th grade. I think that is the best.

Boxes of toys, a crochet blanket that my Gram made for me, pictures, journals, all kinds of crap. I just can't bring myself to part with any of it. I keep thinking when I havew kids I will give them my old toys, but this year I realized I would never let them play with my toys...they might ruin them. I guess I never really learned to share. Hmmmm.

Yes, I have a doll and a tiny sewing machine that my grandmother gave me when I was about 7 or 8 years old. She liked to sew on her big sewing machine and I used to imitate her and try to make doll clothes. I don't want to part with my treasures either.

Absolutely, I carry numerous emotional scars from my abusive mother where ever I go. Oh, and a Winnie the Pooh book from when I was three.

I have a bunny that I got for my third Easter, I had burnt my hand and my granny got it for me. I also have a dog that my mother(who left me when I was 6months old) got me that I have sitting on my dresser. I am not really sure why I keep though. I am now 31.

I still have some stuffed animals, most of which have gone to my own daughter. My favorite thing is from my teens...I still have a pair of VERY holey socks that I bought for myself with money I earned with my very first job.

i have a small chest my father made for me when I was very young.

He's gone now but I still have it.

It's not really worth anything but I'll pass it down after I'm gone.
