Purple & Green sounds better than Red and green, But your friend is right and clearly knows that being a Dancing Queen "Red & Green should should never be seen unless apon an Irish Dancing Queen"

Except in Natures Setting scene!
I was taught this and it means never put them together with green above blue! I think it bothers us Subconsciously in some way! In nature we see blue sky above green land all the time!
