do you have to go to a gyno for a papsmear? or can you get it elsewhere? and if you go to the gyno for one, do you have to go through ALL the tests or can you just request the papsmear?

sometimes your family doctor will do it. So no, you don't ALWAYS have to go t a gyno. If all you want is a papsmear, that's all they'll do if that's all you request. Just know that there is a breast exam included with the pap. Not a mamogram, just an examanation.

I get mine done by my GP. She's great. It's a good idea to get checked out by a gyno at some point though.

You can have whatever you want done. Usually they do a pap and then draw blood for other STDS, HIV etc. You can go to a family practitioner doctor or to your local health clinic and have a nurse practitioner do it.

You should go through the whole exam!!! ESPECIALLY if you are having sex!
This will help catch any issues with your cervix!
