A good gift comes from the heart. It doesn't have to be something high tech or expensive. Give it some thought, hopefully is something that is meaningful so when he sees it, or uses it, he'll be thinking of you. Something that strengthens the bond between siblings.

It depends on what he needs or likes. A gift certificate is always nice to give and then he could get what he wants. Our family does this a lot.

Music. Any gift of music - whether its an ipod or cds, or gift certificates, or even concert tickets. Just make sure you know what kind of music he likes.
If he's not into music, then he darn well should be - so give him music anyway!

you haven't mentioned about your budget.
if you have the money, try to buy gadgets like an ipod or a camera phone. or you can even buy him a computer if you can. actually, teenager boys aren't so picky, as long as it's cool and they can do a lot of things to it.
