Holocaust Period

They were left to their own devices to fend for themselves. A period is 28 days and most women did not live that long in the camps. Those that did were basically ignored. Remember, the Nazi thought of the as Untermensch(less then people) so they were not cared for. Since women produce little work they were the first to be killed. My grandmother survived because she dressed and acted like a man. She escaped in a railyard in Eastern France.

the most common remedy was to use rags for the few times they had them. due to the starvation state they were in, women stopped having periods since they would need all their strength just to keep living and having a periopd used up energy their bodies could not spare. once released, and back on a diet which could help them keep up withj the needs of the body, their periods would start again, unless they had aged past the point when the would normally have them. many women were given forced surgey to remove their reproductive organs while in the camps and wouldn't have another period from that point on regardless of age or diet.

If you mean in the concentration camps, by the time women were even put in the camps they were either killed immediatley because they were women or they were so malnurished they stopped getting it.
also Nazis did horrible experiments on jewish women to try and sterilize them to prevent the jewish race from continuing on (Ex: pumping gasoline into a womens uterus) so i dont think many women had to worry about it...also i think that was the last thing on their minds...
