I have a iPod Mini, and i've never used iTunes on it (I've always used Winamp to put my songs on it because my computer didn't meet the requirements for iTunes) and I just got iTunes, and I'm about to buy the new iPod video - BUT... i'm worried that I will lose all of my songs! Is it possible to save all the songs on the iPod to your computer, since I usually delete the songs off my computer once I put them on my ipod... and how can I do this?

*** I meant saving the songs to my computer from my ipod mini, and then I will be able to transfer them to my new ipod since they will be saved on my computer.

basically the songs you have on you Ipod will be downloaded to the program you have on your computer. Your Ipod will automatically choose the Itunes program to load or save your music too even though you used winamp to begin with

Well i knwo how to convert limewire songs to itunes and i htink the same rules apply for anything else, U would go to add file to libary. Then find the file for whatever ur using. then u would have to transfer the songs 1 by one. That is a way u can try and it should work since lime wire and all the other programs are meant for htis and have mp3 support. Oh and hte video rocks but u must get the videos from the store and u need a credit card or u have ot buy gift cards for the store. I use ot use credict card but i buy the gift cards now.

sure syncing it on a sparkling workstation will delete your cutting-edge songs and sync the hot itunes library. I had this problem too and replaced into stuck for days, I used a application noted as SharePod it permits you to transferr songs out of your ipod on your workstation. it truly is 100% free, between the few free ones, different courses like this can charge a cost after copying 5 songs or so. wish I helped.
