He is an arrogant winner. You should always show respect to the opposition. I really hope the Newcastle thrash Chelsea. He also disrespects Man Utd and Liverpool. Liverpool the best team of the 80s and Man Utd won the title 8 times in 11 yrs and won the treble. Chelsea are only good cos of Ibramovich's money. Let's hope on wednesday Newcastle get a strong referee.

Jose Mourinho is an arrogant, big-headed tw*t.
He inherited a half decent team at Porto and gained success through diving, cheating and conning his way to the title.
He now has a team built from dodgy, laundered Russian money and is only achieving what any AVERAGE manager would in the same situation where his spending power is infinate.
(The diving, cheating & conning etc. still remains however!!!)
Fergie and Wenger have consistently built teams from next to nothing that have challenged for all the major trophies every year, that is what being a successful manager is about.
I wonder how Mourihno would fare without his mega billions??
Would he achieve what Steve Coppell has at Reading? Harry Redknapp at Portsmouth? Paul Jewell at Wigan? David Moyes at Everton?
I wonder........................???????????????

the true answer is: BOTH. He IS arrogant AND he IS a born winner. That simple. But most importantly, he's not a genius. He's the impersonation of that saying: "Success is 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration". Lots of hard work and preparation.
As simple as that....

Both. He can be very arrogant, he can be very proud, he is very sure of himself...But he is also determined, determined to win and to be successful. I think his determination is something that has helped his success as a club manager. You cannot deny that he is a fantastic manager. Maybe you hate the he is, but nonetheless, he has had a successful career so far. People may hate him, but I think he is a great manager, despite his personality.

He seemed to backtrack a little after saying it, im not sure he really meant to say it but he was definitely thinking it. Hopefully it will spur newcastle on and chelsea can drop some more points.

Come on.... don't talk like that about The Special One........ he can talk what ever he wants, Man U can make two mistakes and they could steal win the EPL, but if Mourinho makes ONE mistake he will never catch Man U!!!!!!!

I'm sure he believes it and it kind of rubs off on you when someone has that belief. I was glad they dropped points to Arsenal because now they will be tested unlike the last 2 years.

If he said he want something he'll make sure he got it. Smart ***, filthy mouth, arrogance, dignity he got them all. I think he got all the requirements to be called one of best manager in the world.
