They make you pee in a cup and use a pregnancy test.

Several ways:
They can do a urine test or a blood test to check for the HCG hormone which is only produced by a female when she is pregnant. They can do a vaginal ultrasound to check for a gestational sac and/or fetal pole and possibly even a fetus if the woman is far enough along. They can also tell by a physical examination. There are many changes that happen to a woman's cervix and other "down there" parts that clue a doc in on the fact that she's pregnant.

They can do a urine test.. or a blood test. When I found out, I was showing negative on a urine test, but the blood test revealed I was pregnant.

my dr gave a pregnancy test(urine). some dr's check u from the inside.

believe it or not, they actually administer a pregnancy test. more drastically, a blood test is taken

he can do a urine/blood test......check your cervix and uterus.....and he can do a ultrasound vaginally.
