Can it be?

I get my period around the 4-6, But it is already Dec 11, and no period I am never late but this month seems different. I took a pregnancy test on Dec 8, and it was negative, Was the test wrong or should I try taken another one?

I don't know why but last month my sister-in-law missed her period, she thought she was pregnant, took a hpt, came out neg. She got her period two weeks later. Also last month, a coworker was also late, took a hpt, neg also. Had her period two weeks later. For me, the last time I had my period was 10/25, by 12/1, didn't get my period. Took a total of 3 hpts, all negatives. Finally had it on 12/8. I was about 13 days late. I think it's something in the air. A lot of women are getting it late these couple of months. Home Pregnancy Tests are pretty accurate. But if you think you are, wait a couple of days then try again.

Id say try another test as some times they can be faulty however usually very accurate. My cousin did a home pregnancy test and it was negative, she then took a blood test and it was positive. Although there could be other reasons it's late but as you said you are never late...

You could always try again... and you could also get a blood test done. I was popping negative on pregnancy home tests but felt rreally odd.. so I went into my doc.. they took blood, and by 5pm I knew I was pregnant! They can tell much sooner by the blood tests.

We have no idea if it is wrong. Generally they are very accurate ESPECIALLY if you are overdue, but maybe there was a fluke in your cycle this time and you ovulated later.....therefore making your period later....and, making it too early to test.
