Um yea 2 things is they wanted to change it a bit. K instead of c is thier trade nark, with the dragon. I heard somewhere orginally someone had missed printed it and htye like the k and they choses that. I know they thought the k was beter than just saying the normal c. Just like DDR is short for dance dance revoltution and there trade mark is ethier someone dancing or a game pad mat. Thats all i know of the k.

They wanted to make their Trade Mark a little more UNIQUE rather than the same old boring stuff.
