grossman is a "rookie" because he has been with the Bears for a while but hasn't played much because he was injured for the first couple of seasons we've had him***

I gotta think that if Grossman struggles the way he did last week that the Bears might turn to Brian Griese. The window of opportunity to win championships doesn't stay open forever and with the defense they have they are a Super Bowl contender and can't let the inefficient play of one player, Rex Grossman, ruin their chances.

Lovie Smith has a track record for being faithful to his players. He's a good coach, and a good person. That being said let this thing play out. Lovie has to answer to the boss, and Bears fans. If Grossman struggles, don't be surprised to see the players coach, jump ship. Grossman does not sign his paycheck.

Grossman will start. Lovie will probably not put Griese in tonight. Grossman has played badly in several games and he played in all the games.

Start Grossman. If he looks good in the first half; keep him in. If he stinks it up; then put in Griese.
At some point get Griese some playing time anyway...JUST IN CASE.
