House is my favorite show. As t.v. shows go. . .Well yes I want the detective to lay off of Dr House. But on the other hand if Dr House was for real I would probably think twice or three or four times before I would want him to treat myself. Anyone care to speculate?

Yes. He knows his stuff. Most doctors are jerks. At least he's right most of the time. I find him to be more funny than irritating anyways. I suppose I may think things differently if he truly existed and I was in his care.

I would not hesitate to have him treat me. He knows what he is talking about and he is really not like that; it is a facade he uses to cover emotions. I had a doctor like that and he was the best.

Because of his high level of pain, if he was off his meds, he would not be able to function, physically or mentally. Only someone with chronic pain could understand that. Of course, he is addicted but it keeps him going. I do think he should try and cut down a little though, or use another type non-narcotic drug to use an adjuvant therapy.

I think that detective is on a witch hunt and I wish they would reveal what his true reason is for singling out House. (I know he has one).

I would, I was diagnosed with Lupus when I was 11 and now at 22 I have seen a lot of DR's and put up with a lot of their crap. Frankly I think he is awesome, and I like his wit and smart as$ remarks and he's a guiness! He gets the job done and he's good at it, he does't b.s. and hes to the point!I think he would be great to have him as a DR, but then again im a little like him so that might be why! Plus he's sexy! All around my answer is yes I would!

Well, first of all I agree with everything you said! I absolutely love the show House, and haven't missed one single episode yet! I do think that he needs to go into rehab on the next episode, so he can get everything worked out with his addiction to his pain pills before he continues to treat patients though. If it wasn't for that though, I would definitely want him to be my doctor! He doesn't waist time talking to the patients or anything and just gets straight to the treatment, and does his job. So yeah, I would love to have a doctor like House!

House is one of my favorite shows as well- however to have him as my doctor, I am not sure, I would love a dr, that makes a diagnosis like he does, but I do not think I would want a dr, that has absolutely no bedside manner.

Watching the show, I would be skeptical, but I would agree. He's very reckless in how he treats patients and how he diagnoses people, but he is an amazing doctor, and I would trust him in finding out what's wrong with me. I'm not sure if I'm ready for those jokes to be directed toward me though!

I think I would be able to crack him. I'd love for him to treat me. He's so sexy, but more than that a complete medical genius. He figures things out, out of nowhere. I'm sure he could cure any illness I would possibly be inflicted with.

Yes as long as he didn't play the "what's wrong with the person game" like he seems to always do.

If it was for some rare, bizarre, hard-to-diagnose illness, yes. If it was something any doctor could treat, no.
