I dont think I could say, because his boy band days are what got him exposed, and I am sure that is why he did so well as a solo artist. I liked him as a boy band, and I like him as a solo artist. He has grown up as many of them do, and even more so, has actually continued to be successful contrary to the 'boy band fading' myth.

If for people who like bubble pop, surely he's better with Nsync
If for people who like what he's doing right now, which I'm not, he's fine by being solo.
If for himself, definitely solo...

Solo... He has more music knowledge now and his singles like "Cry Me A River", "Sexy Back", and "My Love" have been very successful.

SOLO defenetly ..;his new album rocks!!!!!!it has a great beat. anyways when he was in a boyband they where kind of amateurs they werent really that good
