Since this question is in Swimming, I'd say stay in the pool For about....a hour, Then your hair should be Blonde, but you have pruny fingers, afterwards.

Why post this in the swimming section.
If you bleach your hair blonde then swim it will turn green from the chlorination in the pool.
Don't do it.

just buy some hair dye for like 10 bucks and get some friends together and let them help you dye you hair! it is fun!
