well, I have dry skin and use something called nearly naked. its really sheer but it covers skin well. I guess you could call it a liquid, but there is this sponge that you just poke your finger into to get the foundation. ♥

The first thing I would address is WHY you have the dry patches. Often, food allergies such as wheat, dairy, soy or corn are the cause. Be careful of the products you choose as these may also be the culprit. Many "inexpensive" products contain mineral oil and or its derivitives and other harsh ingredients.

If your moisturizer or foundation contains mineral oil, it may be preventing your skin from breathing properly and interfering with your skins natural oil production. Cheap and harsh ingredients can also interfere with your skin's natural lipid barrier.

My take on this is that often times we think we are saving money by buying the drug-store brand, but often we are spending much more. From what I've seen the drug-store brands can cost $7-$12 and often you buy one and don't like it so you try something else and so on, then the product lasts only 3 or 4 months. By spending a little more in the beginning ($24-$34) you can get the right product the first time and it will last 8 - 12 months. Not only that, but the performance is noticibly better and is worth a few extra $$$.

Also, the most important thing is getting your skin healthy. Any make-up you choose will look better when you have a smooth surface to start with.

Email me with your name, age and address and I would be glad to send you some information and skin care samples to help with your dry patches.

First of all you should try bare minerals that works terrific or bare naturals (from walmart) works very well to but the most of your problems is your dry skin try a facial lotion everynight before you go to sleep and about 10 minutes before you put on your makeup hope your problem gets better btw a bronzer is a good cover up if you can still see the patches when you put on your make up

I have both dry and oily skin, finding a foundation has been a nightmare. Until I tried, Maybelline's Dream Matte Mousse. Omg this stuff is awesome. It goes on light as a feather and feels like a powder but is also kind of wet so you get complete coverage. I'll never use anything else. They have a ton of different shades so you should have no problem finding one to match your skin. Walgreens usually has testers to try on your hand to see how you like it before you buy it.

Go for Neutrogena foundation if you must, the one with copper in it. It's meant for mature skin, so it's really gentle on the skin and takes care of the dryness. But I'd personally like you to use a good tinted moisturizer, like Burt's Bees. It's pretty good.

i ought to signify Rimmels Mousse foundation. that is a lot less powdery than Maybellines Dream Matte Mouse and also leaves dermis matte and organic searching. Used it for type of a 365 days, then all started utilising mac. i ought to really advise it
