Emma by Hot Chocolate, also covered to great effect by Sisters Of Mercy. There's a song from 1967 called Emma My Dear by The Bolland Project, but i've never heard it! Maybe this question will spark off a slew of songs titled emma.....

I think it is very beautiful, and you are really talented. Maybe you could make up a tune to go with it and serinade her in song? (You might need to adjust the line "but really I'm kissing my cat" because it seems to have some extra syllables).

you could easly mistake the opening of the Tori Amos tune "Cornflake Girl" with the words emma was a cornflake girl, the actual words are never was a cornflake girl....
