One of these women wanted my job and she and another woman took our manager out to the local bar and proceed to tell her who liked her and who didn't. The manager proceed to get drunk and came back tot he store and started in on everybody, Because I hadn't clocked out for lunch she fired me. I called our district manager what had gone on and informed him that until she had become manager, I had not had any complaints about my work. It always stems to the fact that I don't kiss anybody's butt

take it to the highest levels ppl should not be allowed to get away with stuff like this....but in the meantime look for a new job! do NOT trash talk you last employer when interviewing for a new company...when i do hiring and someone speaks poorly about their last employer it is an automatic "no hire"...its VERY unprofessional...sooooooo even though you were wrongly fired do NOT under ANY circumstances trash talk..keep it professional.

if asked why you were fired tell them you did not clock out for lunch, it was the first and the last time that ever happened.

good luck...fight the fight but do not stoop to their level in the process!

Welcome to corporate America, it is not a pretty place. I would definately talk with someone 1 or even 2 "levels" about the manager who fired you. In order to be fired, unless you have blatantly broken company rules, you have to be given a certain number of warnings as well as a fair opportunity to improve. I don't know what company you worked for, but working while intoxicated is almost always against company policy. Get your facts and timeline all together, then fight this.

That happens in the work world more than you can imagine. You can either go to the higher up, reapply to the company or find another job.

Not unless you have documentation and/or witnesses, probably nothing.
