an airbrush tan is more expensive because it is more professional. a spray tan is something you can just buy at the store and use on yourself. or, a spray tan as in standing under a shower nozzle that squirts out tanning liquid and you have to rub it in. a lot of people screw up on those cuz they dont rub it in fully. airbrushing is also more even.

there's several products out there...

sally hansen airbrush tan...it's a cosmetic 'tan', doesn't stay on or dye skin in any way.

I'd imagine there are spray tanning solutions available at drug stores or department stores....but I haven't tried em.

I am very familiar with airbrush tanning... I'm an airbrush artist, red-head, freckles...and well, those of my colouring aren't known for our tanning abilities. I did buy some tanning solution to use in my airbrushes... just to take off the fish-belly white (lack of) colour here and there. It doesn't turn me orange...but nor am I going for the Paris Hilton look either. It all depends on brand. (for instance, L'Oreal's sublime bronze does really well with my colouring) This particular airbrush tanning is great for me too.... (totally tan, is the brand name).

I agree. Both will make you look ridiculous.
I remember just today my friends were making fun of this girl because she matched the crate of oranges she was walking past.

Go to the beach, but wear sunscreen. Skin cancer isn't worth looking hot.

PS tanning beds SUCK. There is something in the world called ALL NATURAL. But shaving is always a good thing to do...

One makes you look like a carrot and the other makes you look like an orange. Go to the beach.
