set vanilla extract in for a hour or so, vanilla is a natural odor absorber.

pour some vinegar in microwave safe container and boil it in your microwave for a minute or two then let is sit for about 5 minutes remove the container and wipe down the inside well. Should be odor free and clean too.

try baking soda also wipe the whole inside of microwave down
then either try baking soda.lemon juice or the vanilla extract good luck
