I named my Betta Fish Stanley because of the children's show Stanley's World and he found a Betta Fish on one of the episodes. I named my goldfish Bob, George, and Fred. I named my bubble-eyed Goldfish Bubbles, my black kinda bulgy-eyed ( I guess that's what you would call it) Ebony, and my calico colored Goldfish Calli. That's what I named all my fish! I hope I could help you with your "fish-name" hunting.

Our betta's name is George. We had another one... he didnt swim around alot so we named him D.C. aka Dazed and Confused. He died after a few months... heh
