Preterm delivery is more likely when a woman is over age 35, under age 19, or is carrying multiple fetuses. And sometimes the cause is simply unknown. Check with your doctor for more info. Best of luck. I had two preterm babies when I was 36 and 38. You're at the other end of the age bracket. I hope all goes well for you.

Well, your chances just depend on your body. I am 21 and had a preemie. She was born 3 months early and we had no idea that it could happen. I was healthy and had a good pregnancy and went into early labor. There are many factors that go along with it. It's a good idea to have a check up before or to let your doctor know of any past histories that could affect the baby such as high blood pressure or heart problems.

No. 19 is a perfectly good age. I was married at 19 and had my first baby at 20 and he was full term. If a girl is 13 , then maybe. But I wouldnt worry about that.

your age has nothing to do with with if your baby will be premature the only way it could be premature is if you smoking, drinking, drugs. so if you do everything by the book you should be good to go. congrats!!! my son was big at birth and bigger than the normal but very healthy.

Not based off the information you have given. You are actually in the prime time physically to have a baby.

Your age doesn't really play a big part on not going full term with your child until you are over forty.

Not likely, but what does marriage have to do with it?
