Ok, I entered the key, but it still says unable to connect to the internet. I have a 2wire router. It connects to my phone line. Is that a wired? because sometimes my wii detects it as wireless. My sister has a wireless antennea or router, but i don't know the key code on that one, should i try setting it up in her room?

If you have a WEP/WPA encryption, you need to enter in the relevant code, (usually found on the underside of your router).

Obtaining an IP address is just how a device connects to the internet, so you shouldn't have to enter anything there, as for the submet mask, I've never had to enter these in before, but you might need to enter this in depending on your ISP.
