I only took the ACT, but when I compared the differences between the two tests I thought that the ACT is much easier than the SAT I. Some differences are :1) ACT has all multiple choice, but on the SAT the math questions are NOT multiple choice. 2) the essay question on the ACT is OPTIONAL. on the SAT you have to take it. 3) The ACT tests grammar while the SAT tests vocabulary. 4) There is no science reasoning on the SAT. 5)You CAN guess on the ACT. But wrong answers are penalized on the SAT (which makes guessing dangerous...)

these are only a few of the differences between the ACT and SAT. Most colleges usually only need a score from one or the other. I personaly think the ACT is easier, but both are hard.

Well, there isn't a test called the ACT-SAT. So I have no idea. However, I took the SAT when I was in high school, and some of my friends took the ACT. Perhaps you got them confused and thought they were one test. Some people think they are hard, and some people think they aren't that bad. It depends on how you handle a testing enviroment.

i don't think of that's a question of that's greater solid yet which attempt format suits your understanding greater. maximum human beings of our scholars elect the ACT for right here motives: one million) No guessing penalty (so no penalty for incorrect solutions) and basically 4 answer alternatives on maximum sections (the SAT has 5), so super odds for guessing wisely! 2) lots greater predictable than the SAT. on the ACT, you will consistently understand precisely what proportion questions will attempt grammar, what proportion will attempt airplane geometry, what proportion will attempt Pre-algebra, and so on.--all the abilities are examined interior the same quantities each and every time. scholars experience lots greater advantageous understanding precisely what to assume. 3) an non-obligatory and lots easier essay. The ACT essay asks questions like "could there be a dress code interior the universities?" or "could there be censorship interior the college newspaper?" Which pupil does not have an opinion approximately that? The SAT essay has a tendency to invite philosophical, precis questions like, "Is creativity mandatory greater suitable than ever interior the international on the instant?" inspect our weblog submit approximately why we inspire our scholars to take the ACT. good success!
