If you define dying inside being, having no empathy for others and not enjoying life. Yes, just look around, there are probably many examples of that around. It's unfortunate, that is why it can be important for us to go out and "touch" someone.

It's not an empty tomb, it's walking around with no feelings what so ever for anyone or anything. Example, yoru walking down the street and someone says man somebody just shot your brother and you say yea whatever, or say good and walk on and just go by a dog and kick it and keep walking. Say bad things to other peoples faces and not worry if you hurt their feelings or not. Hey once you have mastered it like me. Who cares.

I'm assuming this has happened to you? If there was something upsetting that happened recently then it is perfectly normal to feel numbed. However, if this is something that has been going on for a while you may want to seek professional help. Depression could be considered a possiblity. Seasonal Affective Disorder (due to shorter winter days)- also known as SAD can also have this effect.

Well, technically yes, but it is very hard. T die of laughter, you would have to laugh so hard you wouldn't be able to get air. I know in several cases people have laughed so hard, they popped blood vessels, like you do when you throw up. But it is rare to die of laughter!!!

Yes. And it sucks.

You learn to grow back though given time.

Hang in there. You'll feel better eventually. Just keep on going and talk to friends you trust.

Everytime I hear about something else the Religious Right wants to take away our rights and freedom.

I THINK IF YOU FALL INTO A STATE OF DEPRESSION THEN YES ITS DEFFINETLY POSSIBLE TO FEEL THAT WAY. BUT IF YOU DO FEEL THAT WAY YOU SHOULD DEFFINETLY GET SOME HELP BECAUSE THAT COULD LEAD TO OTHER SERIOUS PROBLEMS. TRY TELLING SOMEONE YOU TRUST ABOUT IT OR SEEING A DOCTOR.
