Get names from friends you can trust who they used and what they thought of them. Also try the yellow pages. Any good lawyer should be willing to meet with you for a free consultation discuss the fees and what they cover. Some lawyer charge you for questions on the phone others don't. Remember you don't have to use the first one you talk to.

In CA I went to the Volunteer Lawyers Association as I didn't have any money, and it was pro bono
I recommend you look on the bbbonline site to find a reputable laywer
