I take yoga and I just found out I was pregnant. But lucky enough for me my yoga instructor also just found out that she is pregnant. She said that she will have to modify some things and she said that while pregnant you definitely cannot do inversions. I don't actually know what an inversion is, but I just follow my instructor.

If anything I think yoga is super beneficial while pregnant, it gets your body all loosened and stretched and will probably make child birth easier.

Also, you can find "yoga while pregnant" workout videos.

Good luck and I hope this helps. :)

There are videos for Yoga during pregnancy, do one of those not one of the others, those get a little too intense. Standing on your head for 10 minutes probably isn't good when you're 9 months pregnant!

Try getting hold of an ante-natal yoga dvd, then the exercises are tailored specifically to you. They usually concentrate on strengthening the legs and keeping the pelvis and hips flexible and open. Oh, and breathing of course!
Some types of yoga are pretty strenuous, so if you're doing your usual classes from before pregnancy, make sure your instructor knows you're pregnant, and they'll tell you when to take it easy during class.

There are specific stretches for prenatal yoga. Beginner Yoga should be safe but your teacher should know you are pregnant.
Although people think yoga is about stretching, breathing etc. don't be fooled, there are certainly movements that can hurt you and or baby. Stick with prenatal yoga. There is a DVD by shiva rea that is perfect! (I use it)

be aware of some exercises like nauli, and kryas, pranayamas is a good thing, not to much hiperventilation doe and exercises with your stomac down or inversions, easy with the padmasana chose samanasana or shidasana in the ground should be avoid, more flexibility exercises and not many with force, but yes in general it is safe. Practice more with your instructor. Well done yoga is even advise in this situation.
