the most common navajo names i'm familiar with are, begay, nez, chee, many goats, silversmith...the navajo nation has the largest population among all of us natives. well over 1 million tribal members. there are so many different last names. but each tribe has families with names that are as common among them as "smith" is in the non-ndn world.

I've always loved Kennedy as a name. Greyson is cute also, for a boy, though. So is Carter for a boy. I like the name McKinley for a girl, and I don't think Mackenzie is masculine at all. I don't see how people get that. Although perhaps the name is, traditionally, masculine, in today's day and age, Mackenzie is for sure a girl's name. Not horrid at all. I like the nickname Kenzie. :) Btw, I like the name Reagan and Foster as girl's first names. They're also typically surnames, but I think they're adorable. Foster would probably be a middle name though.
