To do this you need a "partitioning" program that can move and/or change "active" drives. There are several. I use partition magic
If you have moved all the files to the 75Gb drive, open partition magic, delete the 5Gb drive, add the "free space" to the other drive, when done close and reboot.
NOTE: The partitioner program MUST be on the C drive with the OS, or it will not work correctly, if at all.

Once a drive has been partitioned like this it is nearly impossible to recover the space used in the second part of the drive. Basically taking two partitions to make one is not really possible. That would cause you to lose all information in both partitiions. Sorry, but at this point you are SOL. Hope this helps

You have to copy your data in a backup drive/primary drive and then fomat the drive to be combined. Then you copy the data again in the drive. I can give you a link that deals with hard drive problems. Some drive problems can be easily fixed by yourself using easily available tools. I found the info at http://fixit.in useful. Try this site, if you can get what is required.

You can use a partition program like Partition Magic, but I would not recommend it. There are risks of corrupting your partitions by using programs like Partition Magic, which means losing all your data. If it bothers you that much, then you can backup all your data on a CD, DVD or a different computer, then merge the partitions.

It's not worth it for 5gb. The software to do it costs money and you risk losing everything.
