Well in a case like that suprise them anyway. It will make thier day brighter, and it is better to give than recieve. Your giving will bless you.

Some people yes; some no. Depends on the person.

I really do NOT want anything for Christmas and have told people so but some will say it just to keep someone from having to spend money on them.,

That's hard to say. When I tell someone I don't want anything for Christmas, I mean it. How well do you know the person? If they consistently tell you one thing, and you have realized they mean another, then don't believe them when they say they don't want a present.

some times yes and some times no. It depends how the person is feeling toward Christmas. But its not the presents its the giving.

some people mean it. this year i said that i don't want any presents from anyone that is not related to me. it feels like such pressure to buy for everybody and what if they buy for you and you don't buy for them??? i always would prefer for friends not to buy me things. i'd rather give then get. but my husband, sister and parents always buy me something. i don't 'EXPECT' it but i know they'll get me something.
