Yea i believe they played terrific last season n thier poor performances this year r because of his lack of job-security, first Kia, the Iranian said he didnt want Pardew, so Alan was always unsure of a future n then this new owner from Iceland or wherever, just judges him in 1-2 games, it was like u do it or u get the axe, maybe a little fake support would have helped to see if Alan could have done some thing

It is puzzling when the new owner comes in and gives his full support only four weeks before sacking the manager but I suppose that is the proverbial kiss of death. The modern English game is now all about business and turn over, next year under new TV sponsorship teams get around 40 million pounds just to survive so the biscuit baron at west ham can't take the chance of relegation and now it looks like they are getting Alan Curbishley formerly of Charlton F.C so it's not all bad except for Alan Pardew and his back room staff.

Yep I totally agree but can't you see a pattern here with Chelski

They were taken over ... brought in a new manager because of their owners

Alan was a fab bloke and I hope he is appointed somehwere quick if not football will be losing a great manager

Utd and Ferguson took ages to turn Utd into the best team in Premiership history....chairmen now expect new managers to be able to acheive success within 1 or 2 seasons!!

United are for the taking they are not very confident at home at the moment but i dont think newcastle can do them over they dont have the quality in the squad they have beat the average mid table teams but newcastle will struggle when playing the big boys like chelsea, city and united

Course he should have, it is so easy to blame the managers these days.
This is the problem with all these takeovers.
