The Good Will? Oh, my god, how tacky. This is the first response, but go there, take a little time, and begin to go through things. You will find two things: (1) many women receive or buy clothing of excellent quality and style that they find they don't want, and they give it to Good Will and get something on taxes, (2) stores have good quality things they can't sell, or a store is going out of business, and they try to recover something on taxes by "donating" it to Good Will.

My wife is a petite (size 0) and she is an attorney with one of the Chicago's larger firms. She is thought of as a fashion plate in the office and is always beautifully and impeccably dressed. Nearly all of her clothes come from Good Will. It's a holdover lesson learned when we were in school and had no money. Have your guy take a look also. When you find a $75. Jansen sweater for two bucks, you will be a believer.

Now, if you are looking for the day-before-yesterday rags of a juvenile, you better head out the TJ Max or some place like that. Just a suggestion, doan get mad, fer god's sake.

Look for a "Designer Resale" shop or a "Consignment Shop." Rich women who buy designer clothese take their stuff there to resell, bec it was too expensive to just donate. The stuff is often almost brand new! You will love it!! :)

** But it is far more important to look beautiful yourself than to have expensive clothes; if you have a good body, you will turn heads in even the simplest clothes. I have been around plenty of rich women who look like crap despite that they are standing there in a $4,000 gown; focus on fitness before clothes!

Be the same size as one of your rich friends and borrow some, make your own, or try a place like Plato's Closet. How much clothes cost shouldn't matter as long as they look good on you, though.

Well one thing you can do is check online. They always have great sales. Or take a weekend and do some yard sale hunting.

You could ask a friend to buy it for you but that does not always work. There are no other ways.
