I need help

Try this:
g-9+9=-10+9
g=-10+9
g=-1

I added positive 9 to both sides, which eliminates everything from the side where "g" is. Then I was able to calculate the answer.
K?

-10+ 9= -1
-1-9=-10

I would say so g = -1 ignor the varialbles and just look at the numbers. addition is the opposit of subtraction and division is the opposit of multiplication. Just do the opposite to both sides to isolate the variable

Isolate the variable and do the opposite for an operation (+, -, /, *) to use on both sides, where + opposite is - and / opposite is *.
