A child can be diagnosed with the first Asthma attach. If that child is three weeks, three days, or like myself 23 years. It just depends on the severity. Bronchitis can be diagnosed alos witht he first onset. Bronchitis is an inflammation in the bronchi and is usually treated with antibiotics to keep infection out and a steroid called prednisone to help with symptoms. Although both are scary they are both treatable with the right meds.

Good luck and have a good day.

If I am not mistaken bronchitis is when you get sick and fluid stays in your lungs then you can develop bronchitis if left untreated. As for asthma you are born with it, now it can go into remission which means that you don't get attacks and don't have to treat it, but it can always come back. Or you can just have it continuously through out your life.

Asthma is hereditary and since it runs in my family ( I was diagnosed at age 3) when my son was having breathing problems at 1 year old he was diagnosed with it. My daughter is now 3 1/2 months old and was diagnosed with it when she was 1 1/2 months old and needed to be on a nebulizer for over a month for it (it was aggravated by bronchitis which she and my son both got as a result of people bringing sick kids to my in-home daycare).

I feel your pain. I've had asthma for 14 years now and have seen several doctors. The truth is, there is no known cure for asthma at the moment. But the symptoms can be prevented. It really depends on what causes your brother's asthma. Mine is usually dust and hot weather. But I think the universal method is using the control inhaler.

I cured my Asthma the natural way?

If you wish a established, all-traditional solution to medication your bronchial asthma, with no need to pay for vain medicinal drugs with dangerous aspect-results, then that is the predominant web page you can ever learn.

I was born with "adults asthma" and had my first severe attack at 1 mo. of age. Infants can be diagnosed with either disease if symptoms are showing. Best bet: Consult your pediatrician. If not satisfied with that, consult a reputable pulmonologist!
