Welll, for me I kept wishing I would turn older until I turned 15 then I started wishing I could turn younger.

Well...not that I'm OLd or anything, but yes, I got bifocals today. When I was in my 20's, I couldn't wait to turn 30 because I felt that people would view me as more mature. It seemed to me like all the 20-somethings were considered young adults. I wanted to be an adult...period....... and be taken more seriously.
Turning 35 was the point I started feeling old. 31, 32, 34.....those ages all seemed still young to me, but 35 and beyond...well....
I turned 47 last Friday. Holy Cow! I'm nearly a senior citizen! But I feel very young and alive and my life keeps getting better. I don't wish to be younger.....growing up is hard work. I had to fight hard to get where I am and going backwards is not an option.
If I could keep all that I've lived and learned and just get a younger body to live in...now that would be a deal!

It's different for everyone...I'm 20 and somedays I feel like I wish I were younger and other's I am happy to be the age that I am.

thats an interesting question. reminds me of what philosophers call the 'liminal threshold' between two worlds. where is the point at which the two worlds meet? perhaps a more intriguing question is, does such a place even exist? as for my age, i would imagine it was around 10, when my parents and i emigrated. the reponsibilities of an immigrant kid translating everything for his parents will make anyone wish for some time in the sandbox.

when I was 14 I wanted to be older now that I'm 17 I want to be 14 or younger.

probably somewhere in the mid to upper thirties. I can't say for sure because I'm in my upper twenties but I like my age now.

I'm not sure....maybe for me it was seventeen.....it was a very good year, you know ;)
