Never, jump one generation... he doesn't have the guts to be a king and he likes what he likes too much to care about other things.

If the Queen lives to the same age as her mother (and she is in good health at the age of 80), Charles wouldn't become king till he is nearly 80. In fact, it is not beyond the bounds of possibility that she might outlive him. So let's revisit this question in 20 years' time.

Yes i think he make a great King the media gave him a hard time ( talking to plants and Diana) but he first love was Camilla and he way ahead of the politicians when it comes to the environment .And also he has a very good relations with other faith groups making him a King who would unite the country.

Sure. It would make for some nice joke punch lines. Too bad he probably won't be king during Bush's presidency. Two of the most ignorant morons in those lofty, publicly viewed positions. Think of all of the joke that could come from that!

I'm not British so it's inconsequential. I think he should remain media nonentity. Heads of state are often poisonous or hazardous to the general health. He does more good where he is. Meaning he does nothing.

Yep. Crown the big eared gifford. Who cares who the king is, we have to have one, thats all. It doesn't matter who. They do bugger all anyway. Charlie does more than most and that Camilla seems OK. Why not?
