i took the day after pill but i was drinking that night.. will it still work??

Alcohol won't affect the pill, but throwing up will. If you threw up after taking the pill, then it's not going to be effective after being flushed down the toilet.

Yes; alcohol does not affect the efficacy of hormones.

Antibiotics are about all I know that knocks out the effectiveness of BCP's.
